Written by Adam M. Snow
My friend, my friend how trouble found us;
my heart is heavy, no words to express
a departing of a soul, so greatly as yours.
My friend, my friend, now walk through Heaven's door
My friend, my friend let Heaven greats you
to a reunion long overdue;
a brother you missed now standing before you
and the Father you knew is true.
My friend, my friend my day will come,
when I myself, to death succumb.
So save a place at the table for me,
I'll be there for the reunion, you'll see.
This poem is not meant to make you sad,
it's meant as a message, nothing bad
Farewells never last nor are they forever
we'll meet again at the reunion - my brother.
